Bauer Media Group has expanded its London headquarters, bringing its audio, outdoor and publishing operations together across two buildings in central London.
The move consolidates major UK audio brands such as Greatest Hits Radio, Magic Radio, Absolute Radio and KISS, alongside publishing and creative advertising teams, into a single campus across The Lantern in Euston and Maple House on Tottenham Court Road.
The campus now covers 63,160 square feet, with Bauer increasing its space at The Lantern to 52,668 square feet and adding 10,492 square feet at Maple House.
The new client-facing areas at The Lantern include lower ground and basement floors that open into the building’s atrium, as well as 5,659 square feet of outdoor space.
Vivian Mohr, Chief Operating Officer at Bauer Media Group, said: “We’re passionate about having facilities that enhance creativity, boost collaboration and nurture talent, and so when it came to seeking additional space to grow here in London, Lazari were the natural first call.
“They supported us through the intensely technical logistics of our move into The Lantern in 2022 – from the power and broadcast infrastructure to the specialist sound requirements – and are now connecting Maple House into the same IT framework so both buildings function seamlessly as one campus.”
Bauer’s transition to The Lantern began in 2022, with the headquarters fitted out for broadcast operations, including production suites, a photo studio and a live performance space. The fit-out included specialist sound isolation and broadband upgrades to meet the needs of audio production.
The Lantern, a 181,764 square foot development, is also home to tenants such as Fujitsu, Siemens and Microsoft (Zenimax).
Maple House, refurbished with hospitality-led interiors and an urban forest, adds further workspace and amenities for Bauer’s teams.
The expansion follows Bauer’s acquisition of Bauer Media Outdoor last year, a move that brought new digital and out-of-home advertising capabilities to the group.
