A Zen Mind podcast expands into wider mental health platform

A Zen Mind podcast is revising its editorial focus by expanding into a broader mental health platform with new services.

Founder and host Jo Rose has rebranded the A Zen Mind platform, moving it from a mindfulness resource into a wider ecosystem aimed at people managing pressure in work and daily life.

The podcast remains central, but now sits alongside courses, events and corporate wellbeing work.

Launched in 2020 using a handheld recorder, the podcast has grown into a global show focused on mental resilience.

Following a break, Jo returned in 2023 with a clearer direction, which has shaped the latest changes to the brand and its content.

The podcast reports more than 20 million downloads and a presence in over 120 countries. It has also appeared in Spotify’s Health and Fitness charts, reflecting its reach within the wellness category.

The rebrand introduces a stronger focus on evidence-informed approaches to mental health. Content will now cover areas including nervous system regulation, emotional intelligence and leadership, alongside existing meditation formats.

Jo Rose said the changes reflect both personal and professional development: “The truth is simple: the brand evolved because I evolved,” she said. “But through all of this growth, one thing will always remain unchanged.

“Five years later, every time I sit down to record a meditation or create something new, I still set the same intention I had in the beginning — that this creation might help just one person feel a little better.”

New elements include in-person retreats, live events and digital courses, as well as a corporate offer focused on workplace wellbeing. The podcast also has an updated visual identity to reflect its broader scope.
