Absolute Radio’s Andy Bush launches new quiz podcast Guestimators

Absolute Radio’s Hometime presenter Andy Bush is moving into the quiz world with Guestimators, a new entertainment platform combining quizzing and podcasts.

Guestimators has a unique format, making it impossible to cheat, and has been described as ‘Family Fortunes meets Only Connect’.

Each Monday, quizzers are challenged to guestimate the most common answers given by the British public in response to a series of absurd questions with no correct answer.

The Friday podcast then sees Bush challenge a celebrity guest to the same quiz, before the answers and weekly leaderboard are revealed.

Other members of the Guestimators team include sports podcaster Matt Cutler, best known for ground-breaking documentary The Pirates vs The Premier League, and Will Nichols, former VP, Content Development at Universal Music.

The first quiz will be released on Monday 13 November and the first podcast – featuring comedian and TV presenter Mel Giedroyc – will be available on Friday 17 November.
