Audacy launches podcast tracking WNBA free agency and college drafts

A new daily podcast will track WNBA free agency and drafts as they happen.

Audacy’s The Women’s Hoops Show has partnered with MOSH Audio to launch On the Clock, a limited-run series hosted by sports journalist Jordan Robinson.

The podcast delivers 15-minute daily episodes focused on breaking news, analysis and insider insight during a key period for the league, as a newly ratified collective bargaining agreement begins to shape decisions across teams and players.

The series is timed to coincide with a significant phase of the WNBA offseason, covering player signings, trades and roster changes, while also explaining the wider impact of the new agreement on the sport.

Jordan Robinson is joined by a rotating group of analysts and contributors, offering context around each development and building a daily record of how the league is evolving.

Sarah Hack, Co-founder of MOSH Audio, said: “The ink hasn’t dried on the CBA, but here we are, sprinting to help fans understand its implications. We’ll cover the headlines and the broader cultural significance of the headlines in a way that respects the sophistication of the W’s fanbase.”

Leah Reis-Dennis, Head of Podcasts at Audacy, added that the timing of the series reflects a turning point for the sport.

She said: “With unprecedented momentum behind women’s basketball and a new CBA shaping the league’s future, this is one of the most consequential free agency periods in WNBA history.”

The podcast is presented by DICK’S Sporting Goods, which continues its involvement in women’s sports as an official partner of the WNBA.

On the Clock: A Women’s Hoops Show Special Series begins today, 4 April and runs through until 17 April, with new episodes released each day across podcast platforms.
