Comedian Grace Campbell to launch new dating podcast

28 Dates Later with Grace Campbell is a new podcast hosted by the comedian and writer.

The podcast, from iHeartPodcasts and Novel will see Grace going on 28 dates across two months, only dating people who are the total opposite of her usual type.

Audio from the actual dates will be included and also the post-date debriefs between Grace and her friends Roz and Dan. The pair do not give Grace an easy ride, dissecting her behaviour with tough love – not to mention her dates.

Among Grace’s potentials are the wannabe sugar daddy dishing out investment advice, the guy who refers to himself unironically as a ‘wine connoisseur’ and the overly enthusiastic couple trying to get Grace as their third!

Some interactions genuinely make Grace think about dating differently, such as her date with a man in a polyamorous relationship which allows her to explore the dynamics of ethical non-monogamy.

Grace says: “My goal isn’t to necessarily find ‘the one’, but to learn more about myself and prepare for what I want out of the next phase in my life – my 30s.

“I want to become more open-minded to different people and different ways to date, as well as more confident in myself and my dating life.

“Dating isn’t easy, so I want this podcast to feel like you’re having an honest conversation with your most reassuring best mate. I for one really need that in my life!”

28 Dates Later with Grace Campbell will be available on all major podcast providers from 6 November, with new episodes released every Monday and Wednesday.
