The Darlington podcast, Our Darling Town, has been nominated for a Stronger Communities Award.

The nomination, in the Bringing Success to Darlington category, recognises the podcast’s impact in showcasing the people and places that make Darlington special.
Each episode explores the stories behind local café owners, charity organisers, journalists, business owners, and residents who work every day to make a difference.
Past guests have included well-known names like The Pasta Shop, Stable Hearth, Maggie’s Coffee and Kitchen, and the Arthur Wharton Foundation.
The nomination recognises Carver Group’s commitment to showcasing Darlington’s achievements on a larger scale, helping to reinforce the town’s positive reputation across the region and beyond. The Bringing Success to Darlington award specifically honours initiatives that raise the town’s profile through outstanding contributions in business, culture, or community life.
