Escape To The Chateau’s Dick and Angel launch new podcast
Dick & Angel, who are known to millions from their international hit TV show Escape To The Chateau, are launching a podcast.
The weekly podcast, Dick & Angel’s Chat…eau follows the day-to-day adventures of the Strawbridge family.
In the TV show, their journey of finding an abandoned fairytale chateau and bringing it back to life on a shoestring budget, was followed by viewers.
Audiences saw them transform the five-storey chateau with 45 rooms, seven outbuildings, 12 acres, a walled garden, orangery and a moat, into a thriving family home and sustainable business.
The new podcast sees Dick & Angel invite listeners into their home once more, revealing the inner workings of their unique family chateau and their life in France’s Pays de la Loire.
It will include a wander through the couple’s memories of first finding the location, plus tales of the family’s upkeep, projects and adventures – big and small – in more detail than ever before.
Dick & Angel’s Chat…eau will be available on Global Player and all major podcast providers from Wednesday 1 November.
The podcast is announced on the same week as the Strawbridges release their new memoir The Château – Forever Home, out 26 October.
