Anthony Scaramucci, co-host of The Rest Is Politics: US, and historian Dominic Sandbrook, co-host of The Rest Is History, will be on stage together for a special live event.
Taking place on Sunday 30th March at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane in London, the pair will uncover the history of political assassinations. This will include exploring the motives, consequences, and seismic shifts these events triggered in power and democracy.
Dominic Sandbrook said: “Well, if history teaches us anything – and I rather think it does – it’s that assassinations rarely go as planned, and their consequences often unfold in ways more profound than anyone anticipates.
“I couldn’t be more excited about this! A one-off West End show about U.S. presidential history, alongside my favourite former White House inmate – what could possibly go wrong?”
With Dominic’s deep historical expertise and Anthony’s insider perspective on American politics, they will delve into history’s most dramatic moments. From the assassinations of Abraham Lincoln and John F. Kennedy to the attempted killings of Ronald Reagan and Donald Trump, they explore the shocking events, hidden motives, and lasting consequences that shaped the world.
