Purposing, the podcast from award-winning purpose consultancy Given – part of Anthesis Group, is back with a brand-new series.
The podcast explores what it really takes to build and lead purpose-led brands that deliver impact and sustainable performance.
Each episode offers in-depth conversations with the people driving change inside some of the world’s most recognised brands. They end with actionable takeaways you can apply in your own organisation.
The latest series launches with Will Butler-Adams, CEO of Brompton Bicycle, as the first guest. A passionate advocate for rethinking urban transport and using business as a force for good, Will shares his experience of leading one of the UK’s most iconic and innovative manufacturing brands.
Others lined up to feature include Natalie Deacon – Executive Director, Purpose + Sustainability, Avon; Gemma Wiggs – Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025, Head of Tournament and Jamie McKeown – Sustainability, Diversity and Inclusion Manager, World Rugby and Nigel Sullivan – Chief Sustainability and People Officer, BUPA.
Previous guests have included Mitch Oliver (Global VP of Brand & Purpose at Mars), James Timpson (CEO, Timpson), Tanya Joseph (Architect of This Girl Can), and Simon Henzell-Thomas (Global Director of Climate, IKEA).
The Purposing podcast is hosted by Given’s founder and CEO, Becky Willan, who brings her perspective from 15 years helping businesses define and deliver purpose at the heart of strategy and brand.
Becky says: “At a time when so many businesses are looking for guidance and clarity around their impact initiatives, we’re thrilled to be back with some more insightful and practical conversations others can use as inspiration.
“Will is the perfect guest to kick off this new season. Purposing is all about hearing directly from the people hard-wiring and soft-wiring their organisations to deliver purpose alongside profit. Will tells us about the challenges along the way and mistakes he’s made – but also the wins too.”
The first episode of the new series is available now on Spotify, Apple Podcasts and all major podcast platforms.
