Hit podcast Ghost Story heads to West End for live show

A special edition of the international chart-topping podcast Ghost Story is to take place in London’s West End.

The one-night event will be on Monday 5 February at Theatre Royal Drury Lane, which is said to be London’s most haunted venue.

Diving deep into the twists and turns of the Dancy family story, Ghost Story Live peels back the layers to unveil previously undisclosed evidence from the jaw-dropping tale, that made the critically acclaimed podcast one of the most talked-about shows of 2023.

Hosted by self-confessed Ghost Story super fan, Elizabeth Day, the audience will be the judge and jury in the true crime saga of Naomi Dancy’s murder.

In 1938, the police concluded Naomi was shot by her brother Maurice but Ghost Story considered an alternative… and ultimately shocking theory behind the killing.

Tristan Redman, journalist and host of Ghost Story, joins show producer Annie Brown to tackle the challenging, even contentious questions left unanswered by the podcast’s real detectives who included Jackie Malton, who Prime Suspect’s Jane Tennison was based on.

In an interactive unravelling of the mystery with exclusive audio-visuals, live readings of important documentary evidence and audience questions, Ghost Story Live will aim to solve the enigma once and for all.

Ghost Story is a Wondery and Pineapple Street Studios production which topped the Apple Podcasts charts in countries across the globe including the UK and US.
