Kerry Washington’s Street You Grew Up On launches season four

The first episode of Kerry Washington’s latest YouTube series Street You Grew Up On has launched.

Intuit QuickBooks, the financial technology platform for small businesses, has teamed up with actor, director, and producer Kerry for season four.

It will spotlight entrepreneurs, activists and artists as they discuss the people and places that helped them grow and instil the confidence they needed to reach success in their career and life.

Episode one features a conversation with rapper, singer, and actress Queen Latifah talking about her childhood, community, and journey establishing herself in her career. Other guest confirmed for the series include Julia Louis Dreyfus, Lee Daniels, Aja Naomi King, and more.

As part of the partnership with Intuit QuickBooks this season, each guest is given the opportunity to donate $10K to a small business that has left an impact on them.

Queen Latifah chose to donate these funds to Vonda’s Kitchen in Newark, New Jersey, for their prioritisation of the community, giving back, and teaching people how to build businesses and explore things through cuisine.

The new season also includes Mentor Moments which brings mentorship from Washington and QuickBooks to budding businesswomen and offers them help in amplifying their voices and growing their business.

Queen Latifah’s episode is available now on YouTube.
