Life, Interrupted with Simon Thomas podcast returns for second season

Life, Interrupted, the inspiring podcast from TV presenter Simon Thomas, is back for a second season with Phillip Schofield as first guest.

Through interviews with well-known celebrities and notable individuals, Simon explores human endurance through the toughest times in life in order to understand how crisis and desperation can, over time, lead to hope and inspiration.

The first episode is out now and sees Philip discuss writing his new book, his father’s death and how his family dynamic changed after he came out publicly last year.

Other guests in the series include BBC journalist Dan Walker; the Gandy brothers, who lost their parents in 2004 and have since created a fashion brand which funds the building of schools across the world; former cricketer Andrew Strauss who founded The Ruth Strauss Foundation in memory of his late wife; hypnotist and author Paul McKenna; Tara Howell, ambassador for spinal research; and many more.

Simon said: “Given where we find ourselves now, this new series of Life, Interrupted and the stories it features feels very timely. As ever, listeners will hear from well-known celebrities and notable people on some of their defining moments and how they navigated life-altering circumstances to make it to the other side.

“These guests inspired me and I hope their lives will give listeners a sense of hope that though right now life feels tough, it can, and will, get better.”

Life, Interrupted is available on Global Player or wherever you get your podcasts, with new episodes released every Monday.
