Lost Tapes of History Podcast features Henry III and the Architect

The Lost Tapes of History Podcast has reached the 8th episode of 37 and this week is about Henry III and the Architect.

Based on real facts at a specific year in each Monarch’s life, we find out about their true personalities.

The date is January 1245. Henry has decided that when he dies, he wants to be buried in Westminster Abbey so sends for his architect Henry de Reynes to talk through his plans.

A spokesperson for Henry III said: “Do you know anyone in the planning department at the Council? I can’t seem to get hold of anyone and I need this permission fast tracked.

“No? Oh well, never mind. I’ll just stick some cash in an envelope and do it the old-fashioned way.”

This latest episode comes on the back of the news that the series, now into its second month, has achieved 500 downloads and research into the second season is already underway.
