New comedy podcast features MailOnline comment section

Straight to the Comments! is a new comedy podcast shining a light on the wild and wacky world of the MailOnline comments section.

The podcast is hosted by online stunt creators and YouTubers Josh Pieters and Archie Manners. They’re best known for flying Katie Hopkins to Prague to receive the fictitious C*** award and turning the tables on Just Stop Oil by infiltrating the group and bringing a demonstration to a standstill.

The pair welcome a celebrity guest each week to help them break down some of the wackiest, front-page-worthy statements left under the MailOnline stories. Who better to unpick the media and guess the story than the celebs themselves?

Each episode takes Josh and Archie on a journey with their celebrity companion to uncover which bizarre story about them in the press correlates to the even more bizarre comments left under the articles.

There will be behind-the-scenes intel on some of the celebs’ biggest headlines, gossip-fuelled tales and tidbits. Guest appearances include Kerry Katona and Dani Dyer.

Josh and Archie Say: “The time has come for us to speak to some of the MailOnline’s favourite celebrities about what the British public actually think of them…and we, for one, cannot wait. That, and we like being in the MailOnline ourselves, and this means the Editor is likely to be nicer to us.

“Meanwhile, one of MailOnline’s leading commenters, Samster289 said: I won’t be listening. As Archie’s mother, I hear enough from him anyway. He’s a prat!”

Straight to the Comments! will be available on all major podcast providers weekly from 19 February.
