New narrative podcast about getting lost on purpose launches

Go and Find Out is a new deeply personal and richly produced nonfiction podcast series about a global hitchhiking journey and the inner transformation it sparks.

Created by Asheville, North Carolina based storyteller Jonny Wright, the podcast goes on a round-the-world hitchhiking adventure that becomes a quest for meaning, connection and the courage to change.

Jonny is a writer and musician who left behind his job, home and country to hitchhike across Europe with only a backpack, a notebook and a deep need to ask better questions about life.

Over 16 immersive episodes, the podcast weaves together real moments from the road – unexpected friendships, ancient ruins, long ferry rides, emotional unravelling and the quiet discoveries that follow when you learn how to listen.

It’s a story about curiosity, fear, love, loss, resilience and what happens when you trust the unknown.

Told through first-person narration, original music and the actual voices of people met along the way, Go and Find Out is a sound-rich memoir for anyone standing on the edge of change, wondering if it’s time to leap.

Each episode blends immersive sound design, narration and true-story grit to explore the tension between freedom and fear, intimacy and independence, movement and memory.

The series builds a sense of growth with lessons from strangers met along the road into decisions still unfolding.

It was written, narrated, and sound-designed by Wright, whose background in music, literature and cinema has helped in creating this podcast.

Episodes one and two of Go and Find Out are released today, 24 April, with future episodes available every Thursday on all podcast platforms.
