How Do We Manage? is a new podcast by keynote speaker and multidisciplinary expert Stephanie von Bismarck.
The show features conversations with experts on how to navigate life, technology and the modern world.
Member of the House of Bismarck and a well-known public figure in German speaking countries for over two decades, Stephanie is an expert in digital media, child protection and media education. She has a background in business, politics and international affairs.
Having lived in the UK, the US, France, Germany and Sweden, Stephanie has extensive knowledge of business and education, and as a child protection activist and investor in education start-ups, her work revolves around combatting online threats to children.
With her new podcast she aims to answer big life questions from mental health and wellbeing to dealing with AI and social media. Stephanie and her guests will share both practical advice and scientific research to help better understand and cope in our modern world.
The first episode features wellbeing coach, writer and podcast host Adrienne Adhami about the science behind decision making.
Speaking about “FOBO” – the fear of a better option – Stephanie and Adrienne agree that endless choices in the modern world are holding us back from happiness. They also discuss whether you should trust your gut, which trade-offs you should risk when making decisions and how to deal with regrets.
Adrienne asks: “What’s the thing that you will really regret? A mistake that you tried or the inaction and never knowing what could have been if you had the courage to try?!” In response, Stephanie shares that “daring to make a podcast” is something she wanted to try even if it’s new to her.
In episode two, the conversation moves on to AI with neuroscientist and bestselling author Dr. Henning Beck. The third episode features renowned psychologist, author and popular podcast guest Dr. Paul Conti, who treated stars like Lady Gaga and Kim Kardashian, about how we can build good mental health.
Season one of How Do We Manage? is available from today, 6 May with new episodes releasing on Tuesdays.
