New podcast explores power of changed minds and nuanced thinking
How My View Grew is a new podcast offering an exploration into the power of changed minds and nuanced thinking.
Hosted by experienced executive coach, writer and seasoned interviewer Amiel Handelsman, the podcast brings together diverse voices to explore humanity’s most pressing challenges, from politics to climate change, through the lens of personal transformation and insightful conversations.
With 25 years of coaching leaders and teams through complex challenges, Amiel Handelsman brings an understanding of how people think, change, and make sense of the world.
His work has spanned a wide range of fields, from corporate boardrooms to institutions, earning him recognition in Fast Company and a feature on Governing.com as a climate migrant.
Handelsman’s books, including Reimagining American Identity and Practice Greatness, reflect his dedication to exploring and addressing societal issues with depth and empathy.
Speaking about the podcast, Handelsman says: “People have asked me: ‘Is this show about politics or self-development?’ I tell them it’s about both. This show is for people who are also looking for ways to expand their own thinking and find their footing in difficult conversations.”
Each interview featured explores the origin story of one thinker’s big, nuanced idea. The first series features a lineup of guests including essayist William Deresiewicz, who discusses the discovery of heterodox thinkers; sustainability pioneer Gil Friend on learning that the world can work; and Yale historian Marci Shore, who offers insights into democracy in Ukraine.
How My View Grew is available every Wednesday on all major podcast platforms including Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and Amazon Music.
