Ageism Is Never In Style is a new podcast committed to pioneering age inclusivity and addressing ageism across the worlds of fashion, beauty, design, media, acting, the workplace and more.
Hosted by the founder of Ageism Is Never In Style® and trailblazing ageism-fighter in her own right, Jacynth Bassett, the weekly podcast will feature guests delving deeper into the world of ageism, with the goal to provide a safe space to listen, learn, and help create awareness about the issue.
The first episode’s guest is the renowned fashion, image, and identity politics commentator, Caryn Franklin MBE. With a career spanning over 40 years at the forefront of the fashion industry, Caryn provides in-depth analysis and disruptive conversations.
Additional guests lined up include actress Julie Graham and award-winning beauty entrepreneur Ruby Hammer MBE and more.
Jacynth Bassett says: “As an award-winning campaign and one of the world’s leading movements against ageism and for age inclusivity, our mission at Ageism Is Never In Style® is always to educate, spark conversation and ignite change at every level. So, launching our new podcast is the natural next step.
“Through the lens of ageism, each episode will focus on a different topic, offering unrivalled insight, expertise and thought-provoking discussion and commentary.
“I’ll be joined by a special guest – a highly revered expert in their field – and together we’ll explore how ageism manifests across their area and industry.
“We’ll dig deeper, ask uncomfortable questions, spark debate, and ultimately explore and share with listeners how we can all collectively play a role in eradicating ageism and drive positive change.
Because age-inclusivity and positivity is the future – and we can’t wait to amplify this message further.”
