New podcast to launch as Wynne Evans radio show hits 100,000 listeners

Wynne Evans is set to launch a brand-new podcast following the runaway success of The Wynne Evans Radio Show.

The show, which was launched on his website following his recent departure from BBC Radio Wales, has reached to over 100,000 global weekly listeners across multiple platforms in its first week according to a press release issued today.

It says that fans have been tuning in from all over the UK and as far afield as Sri Lanka and the United States.

To make it even easier for fans to listen live or catch up anytime, the dedicated Wynne Evans Radio App has just launched. The app offers live streaming, on-demand playback and a seamless way to enjoy Wynne’s shows on the go.

Speaking about the response, Wynne said: “I’ve been genuinely blown away by the response. This show was created to bring people together and seeing that happen in real time has been incredibly moving.

“I’m so grateful to everyone who’s tuned in, sent messages, and been part of this journey. We’ve had laughs, a few hiccups, and a whole lot of love — and it’s only week one. The energy and support have been unbelievable. I can’t wait to see where this goes next.”

With demand showing no signs of slowing down, a weekly podcast is now officially in production. It will feature the best moments from each week’s shows, from Wynne’s hilarious tales and musical moments to listener interactions and celebrity chats.

The podcast promises to bring even more laughs and feel-good moments to listeners who can’t always catch the live broadcast. More details on the release date and platforms will be announced soon.
