Paloma Faith has today announced the launch of her brand-new podcast, Mad, Sad & Bad.
The words ‘mad’, ‘sad’ and ‘bad’ have all been levelled at Paloma throughout her lifetime and in her own words, “Yeah, I’ve been called all those things, but instead of letting it define me, I decided to own it”.
Across the series, which is made by JamPot Productions, Paloma invites a range of guests into her home to reflect on moments when they too have felt these emotions, dissecting their own personal and professional ups and downs – all punctuated by Paloma’s trademark candour, wit and humour.
The first episode of the podcast launches next Tuesday 28 January with an in-depth chat with comedian, broadcaster, and writer, Alan Carr.
Other guests confirmed include music icon Mel B, comedian and broadcaster Katherine Ryan, musicians Eve and AJ Tracey, and actors Rupert Everett, Paapa Essiedu and Aisling Bea. Broadcasters and writers Jameela Jamil, James O’Brien, Elizabeth Day and Afua Hirsch will also feature across the series.
Paloma Faith said: “Mad? Sad? Bad? Yeah, I’ve been called all those things, but instead of letting it define me, I’ve decided to own it and make a podcast where I’ll be talking to my favourite actors, comedians, musicians, and thinkers on how they’ve handled those pivotal moments of emotion.
“Mad, Sad & Bad is about the highs, the lows, and the glorious mess in-between. Come for the chaos, stay for the conversation.”
JamPot founder Jamie Laing said: “The moment I met Paloma I was desperate to hear what her own podcast could sound like.
“Paloma is one of the boldest and most refreshing voices going and Mad, Sad & Bad is just a perfect reflection of her style, listening to these conversations I guarantee you will laugh and cry just as much as I did. I’m beyond excited to have her join our JamPot family!”
