A brand- new podcast series, Meeting… has been launched by former Bauer producer, Matt Foister.
Matt is now working independently on several podcast projects, including his first release, Meeting… Niall Harbison.
Matt spent five years exec producing the drivetime show on the Hits Network and creating Gemma Atkinson’s Overshare podcast.
In the first episode of his Meeting… series, Matt speaks to Niall Harbison, who was on the brink of death from alcoholism when he made a dramatic change to sell up and save dogs!
The immense interest in his life has led to millions of followers and he’s currently on a book tour, where Matt met him in Manchester ahead of his Lowry Theatre show.
During the recording, Matt and Niall were joined by Gemma Atkinson, who is a huge fan and wanted Niall’s advice on introducing her new dog Benji to the family… she tells Niall: “Benji’s already replaced Gorka!”
Matt says: “It’s a brave move stepping into the podcast world on my own but I’m really excited about the projects on the horizon… the follow up to Meeting Niall will be the complete opposite with someone equally as fascinating….. now there’s a tease into a break for you!
“After years of presenting and producing radio shows and creating many podcasts for Gemma’s Overshare it’s the first time I’ve created a podcast for myself, so to see it all come together, the episode, the visuals and to see it chart is such a buzz and the beginning of a new chapter!”
