A major talking point this week is Tom’s blossoming friendship with Swedish striker Viktor Gyökeres. With rumours flying about Gyökeres’ potential move to Arsenal or Manchester United, Tom reveals that he’s been in direct contact with the Sporting CP star.
“I actually messaged him,” Tom says. “He said there’s different conversations going on. My brain is saying he’ll probably go to United.”
Roman, a passionate Arsenal fan, doesn’t take that lightly. “Tell him to come to Arsenal!” he pleads, even promising to send a voice note asking the striker to join the North London side.
Tom, however, is clearly enjoying the upper hand. “I’d rather him go to United,” he teases, before cheekily asking for a 2% cut of any potential deal if Gyökeres ends up at the Emirates.
The chat also reveals that Gyökeres is close friends with Manchester City star Erling Haaland – another reason Tom thinks a move to United could be on the cards.
