Russell Kane back for season two of TUI’s award-winning travel podcast

TUI’s Pack Your Bags podcast returns with a new series to kick-off spring and the upcoming holiday season.

Hosted by comedian and actor Russell Kane, each episode features a celebrity guest from the world of sport, food, entertainment and more. They share stories of their most memorable travel moments, offering a look into how their adventures (and misadventures) have shaped their lives.

As part of the episode, guests reveal three must pack items and the stories behind them. Asked to unpack their emotional baggage – or rather hand luggage – guests reveal personal stories that you might not expect from a travel show.

Guests also solve listeners’ travel dilemmas such as how to conquer a fear of flying and answer quick fire questions about their dream travel guest, biggest travel icks, favourite holiday drinks and ultimate bucket list destinations.

Previous guests include First Dates host Fred Sirieix, The Guardian’s food critic Grace Dent and Dr Zoe Williams from ITV’s This Morning.

Those lined up for season two include comedian, actor and self-proclaimed “travel expert” Rob Beckett who talks about hilarious travel memories, his daughter’s love for beige food, and why one of his must pack items are Crocs; Paralympian swimmer and BAFTA documentary maker Ellie Simmonds speaking about travelling for work vs backpacking with her best friend in Vietnam and Madagascar; celebrity chef Marcus Wareing on his first trip to France and his new love for skiing and motorcycling; and dancer, judge and Strictly Star Oti Mabuse on taking her parents on trips to South Africa, Romania and Iceland.

Season two of Pack Your Bags launches on 25 March on all podcast platforms with new episodes releasing every Tuesday.
