The How To Win An Election podcast, produced by The Times and The Sunday Times, has added Sally Morgan to the line-up.
She’ll appear alongside Daniel Finkelstein, Polly Mackenzie and Hugo Rifkind.
As a close adviser to Tony Blair, Sally was one of the most powerful women in government and an insider who saw the workings of Number 10 the last time a Labour leader entered Downing Street with a huge majority. She’s been here before.
The podcast, which is approaching two million downloads since its launch, offers an insider’s guide to the twists and turns of political campaigning and strategy.
It brings together some of the most experienced political advisors of the past four decades – Daniel Finkelstein and Polly Mackenzie – with Times Radio presenter Hugo Rifkind.
Serving first as Blair’s political secretary and then as director of political and government relations, Sally understands the challenge of leading the country when there are tensions with the Treasury, an unpredictable ally in the White House, and unrest on the backbenches. Her first episode is available today, Thursday 27 February.
