Sky Cinema moves into podcasting with unique reality dating format

Sky Cinema’s first original podcast, Cinema Dates, is a unique reality dating show matching real singles and following them on an old school date at the movies.

Developed and created by Listen, each date will be narrated by comedian Michael Spicer, known for his social series “The Room Next Door”.

The daters will watch films available to view on Sky Cinema, with their summaries, reviews, and dating-exchanges at the heart of each episode.

The podcast will capture the daters’ nervous anticipation, their hopes, awkward first moments, and personal end-of-date verdicts, as well as their movie reviews for the latest Sky Cinema releases.

The first episode will launch on all podcast platforms tomorrow, 20 September as well as for the first time, being available to watch in full on YouTube.
