Soundtracking with Edith Bowman continues support for films not released

With the absence of cinema releases during the pandemic, DJ and TV presenter Edith Bowman has continued to show her support for films that missed out on release by offering a space on her podcast for guests to talk about the film and the music involved.

Soundtracking is now in in its 4th year with over 4 million downloads. The podcast features a variety of film directors, actors, producers and composers who talk about music that inspired them and how they use it in their films, from their current release to key moments in their career.

Each piece is chosen by the guests and is woven into the interview together with clips from their films.

The podcast is the film industry’s go to, with the biggest actors and composers choosing to share their story with Edith, a film fanatic, respected reviewer and tastemaker in the entertainment industry for over 20 years.

Guests on the podcast include Nick Frost, Ewan McGregor, Ricky Gervais, Tim Burton, Pedro Almódovar, Quentin Tarantino, Hugh Grant, Richard Curtis, Bradley Cooper, Guy Ritchie, Greta Gerwig and more.

Soundtracking with Edith Bowman is out every Friday and available on most podcast platforms.
