Stick to Rugby, new show fronted by sporting legend Lawrence Dallaglio

Stick to Rugby, brought to you by Defender is a new show launching on The Overlap Rugby YouTube channel.

The show will capture the excitement of the 2025 Six Nations Championship and provide insights and discussion. 

Following the success of Stick to Football, The Overlap is launching a brand-new channel, The Overlap Rugby, which will be the ultimate destination for all things international rugby, and the appointment to view before, during and after every international rugby tournament in 2025.

A star-studded lineup of high-profile rugby personalities will host the show and discuss the hottest topics in the global game, along with insights into their lives and careers.

There will also be exclusive interviews with renowned figures from the realm of sports and entertainment.

The hosts are:

  • David Flatman, one of the most popular and respected rugby broadcasters in the UK, Flatman is a former England, Bath and Saracens prop with 8 international caps.
  • Tom Shanklin, renowned for his explosive power and incisive runs, Shanklin is a former Wales centre with 70 caps, two Six Nations Grand Slams, and a key figure in the 2005 and 2008 campaigns.
  • Lawrence Dallaglio, a towering figure in English rugby, Dallaglio captained England, won the 2003 Rugby World Cup, and had an illustrious career with Wasps, winning multiple domestic and European titles.
  • Katy Daley-McLean, an inspirational leader, Daley-McLean captained England to victory in the 2014 Rugby World Cup, earning over 100 caps in a stellar fly-half career.

The first episode of Stick to Rugby, brought to you by Defender can be watched via The Overlap Rugby YouTube channel from 29 January.
