Storytelling collective Stone Fable has launched a new horror podcast, The Grimoire Diaries.
The ten-part audio is drama inspired by the dark fairytale universe of The Grimoire of Forgotten Fairytales and The Tome of Terrible Truths.
This marks the first audio collaboration between horror writer and content creator William Moore and author Alex Edwards, who have created a blend of storytelling with supernatural terror.
William Moore has built a dedicated online following of over 340,000 fans through his viral horror and fantasy content on TikTok and Instagram. His co-creator, Alex Edwards, is best known for One For Sorrow, the successfully crowdfunded tabletop role-playing game rooted in eldritch horror.
The Grimoire Diaries follows the unsettling story of a man drawn into a hidden world of folklore, ritual and decay starting with a strange discovery in a north London bookshop and descending into the overgrown depths of Highgate Cemetery.
“When a name is given, something ancient listens,” say Moore and Edwards. “From the shadowed shelves of a north London bookshop to the overgrown paths of Highgate Cemetery, The Grimoire Diaries follows one man’s descent into a world hidden beneath rhyme, ritual, and rot.
“Expect folklore, eldritch magic, cursed objects, and characters you’ll love too much to trust.”
The Grimoire Diaries launches today, Wednesday 4 June available on all major podcast platforms, with new episodes released weekly.
