The UK’s biggest book club is back with an all-new podcast hosted by television royalty Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan.
Set to release on 22 October, the launch of Richard & Judy’s Book Club podcast marks the 10 year anniversary of their book club in partnership with WHSmith.
To celebrate, the couple have selected some of their favourite novels to discuss in the podcasts including Gone Girl, The Tattooist of Auschwitz, Where The Crawdads Sing, The Family Upstairs and Us.
In this 6-part series, Richard & Judy invite the authors of these novels and celebrity guests to discuss all things books across the episodes. They delve into the origins, themes and inspirations of the novels, as well as the emotional impact they had.
Richard & Judy left This Morning in 2001, to present the show appropriately named Richard & Judy on Channel 4. The show saw the birth of the Richard & Judy Book Club, which was responsible for a revolution in the nation’s reading habits and remains a literary phenomenon over a decade on.
The Richard & Judy’s Book Club podcast will be available weekly from this Thursday (22 October) on Apple, Spotify, Acast and all podcast providers.
