Comedians Maisie Adam and Tom Lucy are returning with a second series of the That’s a First! podcast where they talk to their famous guests about experiencing some of life’s firsts.
Topics range from occupational hazards to adolescent mishaps and romantic tragedies in an effort to explore moments in life capable of shaping who we are.
The latest series includes episodes from Joel Dommett, Baga Chipz, Kiri Pritchard-McLean, the Hairy Bikers, Vogue Williams, Chris Kamara, Litany and more.
Speaking about series two of the podcast, Maisie and Tom said: “We’re thrilled to be back with a brand-new series of That’s a First! We’ll be honest, we absolutely used the pandemic as the perfect opportunity to chat to guests who would normally be too busy to talk to us (literally – their options were either talk to us or make yet another banana bread).
“These brilliant new episodes were recorded virtually and contain some of the funniest ‘firsts’ yet. They’re also funny because we’re 99% sure some of the guests thought Maisie was the Zoom tech. We can’t wait for you to hear them.”
Maisie and Tom’s style of hosting puts guests at ease, which encourages honesty, hilarity and second-hand embarrassment.
Guests in series one included Romesh Ranganathan, Jack Whitehall, Tiffany Stevenson, Jamie Laing and Ed Gamble. There were stories of awkward celebrity encounters, inappropriate crushes, muggings and sexual experiences!
