The Music & Meditation Podcast series four launches on BBC Sounds

Izzy Judd, violinist and author of Mindfulness for Mums, presents a new series of The Music & Meditation Podcast on BBC Sounds and BBC Radio 3 Unwind.

The series features music and meditation designed to combat the challenges of daily life and leave you feeling refreshed and ready to take on the world.

Episodes cover topics from refining your work/life balance to managing your fears, with specially created ten-minute guided meditations from a range of experts, all enhanced by an immersive classical soundtrack.

Each week Izzy is joined by a different guest and in the first episode podcast host, author, composer and BBC Radio 3 Unwind presenter, Niall Breslin looks at how we can make mindful choices for a more peaceful and fulfilling evening routine.

Among other guests to feature across the series is Charlotte Church who discusses how to connect with our inner creativity and imagination.

Charlotte is a singer turned sound healing therapist who runs a retreat centre in Wales. In this episode, she leads a guided meditation to help us develop our creativity.

She talks about how, following the successes of her early singing career, she has reclaimed her own creativity through meditation and now combines it with song and the voice.

This episode will air on BBC Radio 3 Unwind on Sunday 30 March at 5pm and all episodes will be available on BBC Sounds where you can also find the individual Ten-Minute Meditations for those who want to find a short moment to themselves.
