The Telegraph launches weekly video podcast focused on modern etiquette

The Telegraph is launching a new weekly video podcast exploring modern etiquette, social rules and what it means to be “posh” in today’s world.

The Poshcast will be hosted by Telegraph columnist and author Sophia Money-Coutts alongside author and former special adviser Cleo Watson.

The pair will take what The Telegraph describes as an irreverent look at modern social behaviour, with no subject off limits.

Each episode will cover topics including Waitrose, Range Rovers, Dubai, dog breeds, shooting weekends and dress codes.

Listeners will also be invited to contribute questions as the hosts tackle etiquette dilemmas and social situations.

The podcast will be distributed across YouTube, podcast platforms and social media. It joins The Telegraph’s existing range of news, investigation, interview and sports podcasts.

Sophia Money-Coutts said: “I’m delighted that my expertise regarding Labradors, fish knives and how to eat a banana correctly is finally being put to good use, and I’m especially thrilled to be making The Poshcast with Cleo, because she’s the funniest person I know and also has strong thoughts on important matters like Agas and the Beckhams.

“What an absolute joy to be teaming up with her and The Telegraph, a bastion of all that is correct.”

Cleo Watson said: “I am so pleased to be able to publicly air my crippling anxiety about any unclear social situation.

“From plus ones to polyamory, dinner party placement to disappointing picnics, I can’t wait to work with the brilliantly funny Soph and The Telegraph to try and make sense of modern life and what the done thing is these days.”

The Poshcast will be released weekly from Thursday 18 June.
