Tom Dean to track record-breaking Paris 2024 medal haul in podcast

Swimmer Tom Dean MBE is launching a new podcast, Tom Dean Medal Machine to track his record-breaking medal haul in Paris.

At just 23, the two-time Olympic champion and Team GB Swimmer, will attempt this summer what many say is impossible; a record breaking five Olympic medal haul at Paris 2024.

Tom believes he can be the first person in GB history to conquer this ultimate challenge…but he knows he will need every bit of help he can get to make a historical splash in July.

From Jessica Ennis-Hill to Jordan Stephens, Tom will sit down weekly with celebrity guests and famous friends, using their pearls of wisdom to help propel him to achieve his mission on 26 July.

Executive produced by Chris Stark from Capital Breakfast and previously Radio 1, the podcast covers everything from cheat-meals with celebrity chefs to writing motivational chants with popstars, in the hopes they’ll help turn Tom into a “Medal Machine”.

There will also be bonus episodes chronicling Tom’s ‘Training Diary’, featuring poolside chats with Tom and his best mate Alex.

Tom says: “Paris 2024 will be my biggest challenge to date and I’m so excited that Tom Dean Medal Machine will bring everyone along on the ride with me.

“Writing your name into the record books isn’t something you do alone, and I can’t wait to soak up the wisdom of our incredible line-up of guests.

“This won’t be your average sports podcast; let’s make history together this summer.”

Tom Dean Medal Machine launches on Global Player and all podcast platforms from 25 January.
