Gabby Logan has launched the sixth series of her chart-topping podcast The Mid•Point, now part of the Acast Creator Network.
According to the experts at the Economic & Social Research Council, we stop being young at 35 and start getting old at 58.
At 49 years old, Gabby is middle-aged and unashamed. In fact she’s more self-assured, confident and ambitious than ever – so she’s on a mission to shake up the midlife conversation away from the stereotypes of ageing.
This series, celebrity guests joining Gabby include Matt Lucas, Jane Fallon, Raphael Rowe and Kate Silverton – alongside experts who give valuable tips on everything from sleep and nutrition to sex, relationships and hormone treatment during the midlife.
Gabby is asking everything there is to know about being middle-aged and exploring exactly why you don’t need to dread it. She’s shifting the narrative from midlife ‘crisis’ to ‘celebration’.
Last week, Gabby released a one-off special episode with her husband Kenny, talking candidly about his experience with prostate cancer. Kenny was diagnosed after being encouraged to have some routine medical tests after listening to episodes of The Mid•Point. The episode covers everything from Kenny’s diagnosis and the surgery itself, to public perception and long-term considerations such as erectile dysfunction.
The Mid•Point has hit Number 3 in Apple’s Overall Podcast Charts. Gabby’s previous guests include Claudia Winkleman, Jurgen Klopp, Lorraine Kelly, Piers Morgan, Rio Ferdinand, Davina McCall and Will Young.
Episodes of The Mid.Point with Gabby Logan are released each Wednesday, from today and available on all major podcast platforms.
