Tony Robinson’s Cunningcast explores the weird and wonderful things in the world with special guests.
There’s a common theme throughout everything the actor, presenter and author has done. Tony is passionate about digging deep and looking at the past to understand more about the present.
Best-known for playing Baldrick in Blackadder: He’s always had ‘a cunning plan’, he has also presented many documentaries throughout his 50-year career, including a 20-year stint on Channel 4’s Time Team.
In his new cunningly curated podcast, Tony takes the long view on the big stories of the day, plus others that grab him and make him want to know more about the world around us.
Tony will be joined by experts and special guests, such as Miriam Margolyes, Stephen Fry and John Lloyd, who will help provide some answers to questions on topics such as the 40th anniversary of the BBC’s ‘Blackadder’, top 10 most popular food ‘The Pie’, Charles III’s Coronation, prostate cancer, knighthoods, Stonehenge and smells.
Speaking about his new podcast, Tony says: “I’m delighted to be presenting my very own podcast, Cunningcast.
“It’s wonderful to have the opportunity to learn more about the people, the history, and all the extraordinary things in the world that I’ve always been intrigued by.
