True Crime Awards 2026 entries now open for submissions

Entries are now open for the True Crime Awards 2026, which recognise excellence in true crime storytelling, reporting, and investigative media across multiple platforms.

Now in its fourth year, the awards honour work that brings fresh insight into crime, justice, and the human experiences behind them.

They are open to journalists, podcasters, filmmakers, authors, publishers, campaigners, and advocates whose work has helped shape public understanding of crime and its impact.

Categories cover podcasting, broadcasting, journalism, publishing, documentary, and public impact. New categories this year include recognition for innovation in short form content and supporting campaign activity, reflecting how true crime continues to evolve across different formats.

Key dates for the awards include an advanced rate entry deadline on 30 November 2025, the final deadline on 11 January 2026, and the ceremony itself, which will take place in London on 4 June 2026.

Organisers are encouraging early submissions via the official website, truecrimeawards.co.uk, where full entry criteria and category details are available.

The awards are produced by CrimeCon UK and remain a highlight for creators working in true crime.
