Paul Burrell, the former butler to Queen Elizabeth II and Princess Diana, is preparing to share his personal stories and royal insights in his first ever podcast.
Produced by Listening Dog Media and Golden Cat Studios, Paul Burrell’s Weekly Tea will combine commentary on the latest royal news with rare, first-hand accounts from Burrell’s years inside the royal household.
From the late Queen’s daily breakfast routine to private moments with Princess Diana, listeners will gain access to an insider’s perspective on royal life that few have ever experienced.
Speaking about his debut in the medium, Burrell said: “What a perfect way to reach all corners of the world and all my followers. Every single one of them can actually log in to listen to my podcast. It’s not something TV or radio can do, but a podcast can. And I’m so excited to be reaching so many people.”
Each episode will also feature a segment called Burrell’s Britain, which will take listeners back through key moments in royal history while weaving in Burrell’s own personal reflections.
His stories span decades, including his work alongside Queen Elizabeth, King Charles, Princess Diana, and Princes William and Harry, offering a perspective shaped by extraordinary access.
Callum Marks, Co-Founder of Listening Dog Media, said: “This is the first time Paul has taken his stories into the podcast space. The mix of personal insight, royal commentary, and history makes this a unique proposition for UK and international audiences.”
Kyle Evans, Co-Founder of Golden Cat Studios, added: “Paul’s unique perspective, shaped by years of service within the Royal Household directly for Queen Elizabeth II and close relationship with Princess Diana, brings an authenticity and depth to royal storytelling that’s truly unmatched.
“We’re excited to help bring these untold stories to listeners around the world.”
Paul Burrell’s Royal Tea will launch on 8 September and release new episodes every Monday on all podcast platforms.
