A new monthly networking event for London’s podcasting community is launching to connect creators, producers, and businesses working across the sector.
The Podcast Social will provide an informal space for people in the industry to meet, exchange ideas, and build collaborations, from independent podcasters through to agencies and production companies.
Each session will include relaxed conversations rather than structured panels or talks, with a focus on strengthening relationships within the community.
The first meeting takes place on Thursday 25 September at All is Joy in Soho, starting at 5pm. Attendees can also enjoy a complimentary ‘Happy Hour’ sponsored by The Dean Street Podcast Studio until 7pm.
The Dean Street Podcast Studio, based nearby, has recently opened offering next-generation video podcasting facilities, including VeePod’s customisable digital sets, AI-driven camera cutting, professional lighting, and automation tools.
The studio team said they were keen to support the event from the outset and encourage more networking opportunities for those working in podcasting.
Morgain Fitzpatrick, Studio Producer at The Dean Street Podcast Studio, said: “As we’re still the new kids on the block, we thought we’d jump straight in and get the conversations flowing with our podcasting community.
“It will be fun and casual – just a regular monthly get-together to chat about the very latest happenings in this sector we all love.”
