Women’s Sports Network to air Redefined podcast from this month

The Women’s Sports Network will broadcast its first-ever podcast with the launch of Redefined with Leslie and Arielle.

The series, produced by Front Office Sports, will premiere on the channel on 18 September, with encore broadcasts and new episodes airing weekly when season two returns.

Hosted by former US Women’s National Team soccer player and Bay FC co-founder Leslie Osborne and Bay to Bay Volleyball coach Arielle Houlihan, Redefined explores the journeys of trailblazing women who are reshaping sport and redefining success beyond competition.

Past guests have included Michelle Wie West, Shawn Johnson, Ali Krieger, Brandi Chastain and Jess Smith.

Carol Stiff, President of the Women’s Sports Network, said: “As we continue to expand our content slate, this podcast embodies what our channel is all about – elevating the voices, stories, and achievements of women in sports. We are proud to bring more inspiring content to our viewers.”

Jonny Sonkin, Chief Operating Officer of Front Office Sports, added: “We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve built with Redefined.

“Partnering with the Women’s Sports Network to bring this show to broadcast is a thrilling next step, as their commitment to storytelling and elevating female athletes is vital for the future of sports.”

The launch highlights the network’s growing focus on athlete-driven programming. Its line-up already includes partnerships with organisations such as Athletes Unlimited, League One Volleyball, LPGA, NCAA, SailGP, Street League Skateboarding, USGA and the World Surf League.

Stuart McLean, CEO of FAST Studios, which operates the network, said: “Our vision for the Women’s Sports Network has always been to go beyond airing sporting events and create a destination where viewers can immerse themselves in women’s sports from every angle. Bringing Redefined to our platform is another step forward in delivering on that mission.”
