Two Women Chatting, the popular midlife podcast hosted by broadcaster and influencer Michelle Ford, has returned for its milestone tenth season.
Ranked in the top 2.5% of podcasts globally, the show has become a must-listen for women navigating midlife with candid, uplifting and unapologetically honest conversations.
Season ten launches with a clear theme of joy, which Michelle says will be at the heart of every episode. She is joined by a star-studded guest line-up, including Elizabeth Day, Jane Moore, Gaby Roslin, Nicky Hambleton-Jones, Lisa Jewell and Donna Ashworth.
The new series continues to explore topics such as ageing, reinvention, health, relationships and all of life’s unexpected twists.
In the opening episode, bestselling author and broadcaster Elizabeth Day joins Michelle for a powerful discussion about her new book One of Us, womanhood, power and purpose.
Elizabeth reflects on her decision not to have children, sharing the complex emotions and societal expectations that accompany it.
She said: “Although I have chosen to be at peace with not having children, it doesn’t mean I don’t have sadness attached to that… instead of continually mourning the thing that I thought I had lost, I was able to refocus on what I already had and finding joy in that.”
Elizabeth also spoke about her fertility journey, the challenges of managing hope versus reality, and the pressure women in public life still face when showing emotion.
Reflecting on Rachel Reeves showing emotion in parliament, she said: “Our structures are still so male coded… when a woman shows a perfectly valid emotion by crying, that’s seen as weakness, not only by media commentators, but by the markets as a whole.”
Michelle Ford said: “Season ten of Two Women Chatting is all about joy – finding it, celebrating it, and leaning into it in midlife. I’m so excited to share honest, funny, and uplifting conversations with incredible guests.”
The new series of Two Women Chatting is available from today, 30 September on all major podcast platforms.
