Katherine Ryan’s What’s My Age Again podcast has returned for a second season, with influencer and podcaster GK Barry opening the new run.
In the first episode, Grace Keeling – better known as GK Barry – talks about her relationship with partner Ella.
“She has seen such disgusting sides of me that I wouldn’t be able to show anyone else,” she said. “She is just my person. I look at other people, not in that way, but I just think absolutely not.”
GK also reflects on her school years, admitting she struggled to fit in before finding fame online. She recalled being bullied by classmates, including one who once posted a cruel tweet mocking her appearance.
“She was a nasty vicious little arse to me at school,” GK explained. “She shoved me once in the hallway, she was so horrible to me… she once put up a fat fish on Twitter and said this looks like Grace and it got loads of likes.”
Despite the difficult memories, GK revealed that some of those same schoolmates now contact her online with praise. She added: “She messaged me being like you are smashing it Queen, doing so well, and I messaged her back saying thank you!”
Other guests lined up for the new season include Natalie Cassidy, Alan Davies, Jameela Jamil, Emma Barnett and Katie Piper, whilst host Katherine Ryan is taking another test to see if she can improve on her biological age of 77.
Katherine says: “The first season gave us some really eye-opening moments when finding out our guests real biological ages.
“We had disappointment, delight and disbelief and I still can’t believe they all willingly handed over their blood to be tested.
“This season I am excited to be back again with more famous friends to find out whether their lifestyle is helping or hindering them in their quest for longevity. I’ll also get the chance to take the test again to see if I can improve on my own age of 77!”
