AFTRS Graduate Diploma Radio and Podcasting students have been recognised on the international stage.
Their collaborative podcast, Once Upon a Lie, has been officially named a finalist in the Best New Podcast category at the International Student Broadcasting Championship 2025.
This comes during an exceptionally competitive year and highlights the team’s dedication and skill throughout the project.
Judges praised the podcast for its creativity, storytelling, and overall production quality, reflecting the high standard of work across the entire student team.
The ISBC 2025 Awards Ceremony marks the conclusion of the organisation’s biggest year to date. With the highest number of entries in ISBC history, a record number of new institutions joining from across the globe, and an expanded panel of world-class judges, this year’s finalists showcase the sharpest and most innovative minds in student broadcasting, podcasting, and digital content creation.
AFTRS students will now await the awards ceremony taking place today, hoping their hard work and storytelling skills are recognised among the best new student podcasts internationally.
