Amy Jackson Westwick has announced the launch of her new podcast chat show, What’s The Tea Amy?.
The Bollywood star, model and actor is bringing listeners into her own home-built tea café studio for conversations designed to cut through the gloss of celebrity life, with a fully visualised podcast releasing twice a week on all major platforms.
Despite having 13.4 million Instagram followers, more than 20 film credits and a regular front row seat at Paris, Milan, London and New York fashion weeks, Amy says she has never lost touch with her Scouse roots or her love of sitting down with a proper brew.
The podcast will feature guest episodes every Tuesday and solo episodes every Saturday, offering two very different sides to Amy’s life, both focused on openness, reflection and real experiences rather than polished success stories.
The first guest episode will feature documentary presenter Stacey Dooley, with future guests including Amy’s husband, Hollywood actor Ed Westwick, and pop star Leigh-Anne Pinnock, all joining her for what she describes as a big natter over a cup of tea.
Amy says the idea came from feeling that much of what people carry never makes it to social media, particularly the parts that feel messy, uncomfortable or far from glamorous, even for those who appear to have it all.
Rather than focusing on how celebrities made it, the podcast will explore the decisions that did not go to plan, the moments of doubt behind public confidence, and how people recover and move forward when life catches up with them.
Each Tuesday, Amy’s home café will open up for guests to stop pretending everything is perfect, unpack the why behind major choices, and support each other through chapters that did not turn out as expected, without judgement or manufactured drama.
On Saturdays, Amy will turn the focus inward, sharing solo episodes that go behind the scenes of her own week, offering what she calls a real-life overshare that goes beyond online curation and into what is actually happening day to day.
The first episode of What’s The Tea Amy? featuring Stacey Dooley will be available on all podcast platforms on Tuesday 20 January.
