JamPot Productions appoints Craig Strachan as Chief Executive Officer

JamPot Productions has hired Craig Strachan as CEO, as the talent-led entertainment production company prepares for a significant new phase of growth.

Founded by Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo, JamPot says Strachan brings almost two decades of senior leadership experience across global podcasting, digital media and entertainment.

Strachan was most recently Chief Executive Officer of award-winning podcast production company Novel, where he oversaw a period of rapid expansion and growing international recognition for its slate of shows and creative output.

Before joining Novel, he led the global podcasting business at Amazon Music, where he was responsible for international podcast strategy, industry relationships and partner development during a period of increased investment in the medium.

Earlier in his career, Strachan was Head of Marketing at Sky, where he focused on audience growth, proposition development and brand innovation across Sky Sport and Sky Cinema.

In his new role at JamPot Productions, Strachan will lead the companyโ€™s business strategy and creative direction, with a focus on scaling original intellectual property, expanding into new podcast and video formats, and strengthening JamPotโ€™s position within the UK and international creator economy.

โ€œI am delighted to be joining JamPot Productions at such a pivotal point in its journey,โ€ Strachan said, adding that the company has built an industry-leading production business rooted in creativity and authenticity.

Jamie Laing, Co-Founder of JamPot Productions, added: โ€œJamPot has always been about nurturing brilliant talent and producing content that connects through heart, humour and honesty.

โ€œCraigโ€™s unparalleled experience across the global entertainment landscape makes him the perfect leader to guide JamPot in this pivotal next phase.โ€

With a visual-first strategy at its core, JamPot continues to expand across YouTube, podcast platforms and social media, while developing multi-format projects designed to bridge entertainment and digital storytelling for modern audiences.
