Graham Norton and Maria McErlane will bring their podcast to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe as a live stage show on 7 August.
Wanging On LIVE marks the first time the weekly podcast will be performed in front of an audience, moving from studio recording to a theatre setting.
The show will take place at the King’s Theatre on the opening day of the 2026 festival, following the venue’s two-year renovation.
Produced by Platform Media, the podcast sees Graham and Maria offer advice on everyday dilemmas, covering topics such as office relationships, family tensions and neighbourhood disputes.
Listener contributions also feature heavily, with audience members invited to share their own situations and take part in segments including Am I Weird?
The live version is expected to follow a similar format, with audience interaction forming part of the experience.
Graham and Maria say the show will include “audience dilemmas, questionable judgement in Am I Weird?, and the Wangers in the room… so anything could happen”.
The event is presented by Gilded Balloon, which has a long-standing relationship with both performers.
Artistic Directors Karen Koren and Katy Koren highlighted Graham’s history with the Fringe, including his role hosting the final of the So You Think You’re Funny? competition in the 1990s, and described Maria as a familiar presence at the festival.
The performance also positions Wanging On among the first shows to be staged at the refurbished King’s Theatre, a key venue returning to the Fringe programme this year.
Tickets go on sale at 11am this Wednesday, 29 April from the Gilded Balloon website.
The podcast is currently available on platforms including Spotify and YouTube.
