A new podcast from DTP Group looks at the leadership and business decisions that shape how technology works inside organisations.
Ctrl Alt Disrupt is a six-part monthly series hosted by BBC weather presenter Abbie Dewhurst.
The series brings together business leaders, technical specialists and industry experts to discuss the gap between how organisations expect technology to perform and how it operates in practice.
Each episode focuses on a different issue affecting modern businesses, including productivity, cybersecurity, operational efficiency and team performance.
Rather than high-level discussion, the series offers practical insight into the structures, behaviours and leadership decisions that influence IT performance.
The first episode features Andrew Fawcett and Deon Williams. They discuss how increasingly complex technology environments are affecting workplace productivity and what this means for leaders trying to improve efficiency.
Episode two focuses on cybersecurity and examines why breaches continue to increase despite significant investment in tools and awareness programmes.
The third episode brings together former England rugby captain Jamie Peacock and Steve Clegg. They explore the role of accountability, behaviour and leadership standards in high-performing teams, both in sport and business.
Abbie Dewhurst said: “Hosting Ctrl, Alt, Disrupt podcast has been such a surprising highlight for me. I came in with no IT background, but the conversations have been genuinely fascinating.
“My biggest takeaway is shifting from constant ‘firefighting’ to staying ahead of the game, making IT a much more positive experience for everyone.”
Ctrl, Alt, Disrupt isavailable on Spotify, Apple Podcasts and YouTube.
