The Rolling Stones have launched their first official podcast, offering listeners a rare behind-the-scenes look at the creation of their 2026 studio album, Foreign Tongues.
Narrated by Norah Jones, the six-episode weekly series, Speaking in Tongues, provides exclusive interviews with band members Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood, as well as producer Andrew Watt and several special collaborators.
The podcast explores the rapid recording process of the 14-track album at Metropolis Studios in West London, highlighting the creative decisions and collaborations that shaped the project.
Listeners will hear from guest artists including Paul McCartney, Steve Winwood and Robert Smith of The Cure, who contributed to the album and share their perspectives on working with the band.
Speaking in Tongues is produced by Cup and Nuzzle for Universal Music Group and The Rolling Stones, with new episodes released weekly from 25 June.
According to the production team, the series will give fans and industry professionals a deeper understanding of the band’s approach to recording and the dynamics within the studio.
