Returning for its second year, the True Crime Awards 2024 is now open for nominations to give the ultimate recognition in true crime content creation.

Following an incredibly successful inaugural year, PodcastingToday is partnering with the Awards, setting the stage for another round of honouring outstanding contributions to the true crime genre across broadcast, publishing, and podcasting.

Spotify is piloting a groundbreaking feature powered by AI that translates podcasts into additional languages—all in the podcaster’s voice.

As part of the pilot, Spotify worked closely with podcasters Dax Shepard, Monica Padman, Lex Fridman, Bill Simmons, and Steven Bartlett to generate AI-powered voice translations in other languages. These include Spanish, French, and German, for a select number of catalogue episodes and future episode releases.
