Nominations now open for True Crime Awards 2024
Returning for its second year, the True Crime Awards 2024 is now open for nominations to give the ultimate recognition in true crime content creation.
Following an incredibly successful inaugural year, PodcastingToday is partnering with the Awards this year, setting the stage for another round of honouring outstanding contributions to the true crime genre across broadcast, publishing, and podcasting.
The True Crime Awards exists to acknowledge excellence in the true crime genre which has experienced exponential growth over the past few years. The True Crime Awards not only looks to recognise excellence in storytelling and production, but it also looks to celebrate ethical content that shows respect and integrity to victims, survivors and those affected by crime.
This is an unparalleled opportunity for the creators (and often, the mental strain that creating this type of content can have on the individuals and teams) to be commended for their dedication to bringing such compelling, yet often harrowing true crime stories to life.
From podcasts that unravel the most chilling of cases, to books and documentaries that dive deep into the darkest corners of the crime, the True Crime Awards shines a spotlight on the exceptional creators who captivate audiences with their narratives.
Nominations are open to content creators across the globe, providing that their content was first published or broadcast within the 2023 calendar year to a UK audience. With 24 categories in total, the True Crime Awards aim to recognise every area of true crime content creation and its impact on justice.

The True Crime Awards 2024 takes place at Hilton Bankside, London SE1 on 25 April 2024. The earlybird deadline for discounted entry is 31 October 2023 and nominations close on 14 January 2024.
