Podcast Radio US launches in four markets across the States

Beasley Media Group has partnered with Podcast Radio and KMG Networks to launch a new podcast multiplatform radio format in four regions across the company.

The unique format will be available to listeners via broadcast in multiple regions on Beasley stations.

Content can also be streamed from the first four custom stations via the PodcastRadioUS.com website.

The Today Podcast with Amol Rajan, Nick Robinson and their guests, will include their take on the big stories and give a behind-the-scenes insight into how the programme is made.

The new podcast is a part of the BBC’s strategy to grow BBC Sounds and increase digital listening.

Launching during National Inclusion Week, the Simple Content podcast aims to be the UK’s first fully accessible business marketing podcast.

The aim is to open up the podcast world to all, with an accessible media player that allows anyone to enjoy episodes without having to see or touch the podcast player itself. 

This means the podcast can be enjoyed by a wide range of people.

New research says The Joe Regan Experience is UK’s biggest podcast

A new UK Top 25 Podcasts chart has been launched by Edison Research, which uses the same methodology to collect data in the UK as is used in the US. 

At least 2,000 weekly podcast listeners in the UK are surveyed each quarter for the service, and listening behaviour is collected regardless of listening platform.

Participants indicate which podcasts they listened to in the past week along with a variety of demographic, psychographic, and purchase-behaviour information.
